A Summer Vine grower in Vaucluse
From June 1 to September 30, 2008, the Vine growers co-operators of Vaucluse propose course and meetings around wine tourism and of the oenotourism, between Provence and Vallée of the Rhone. “A Summer Vine grower in Vaucluse” includes activities adapted to all the public ones and all the family: circuits in the vineyard in Ventoux, reception in the wine grower, festivals and concerts in the Coasts of Luberon, festivals of the wines and stages gastronomical in the Coasts of the Rhone…

Arles et la Camargue
Voici un pays de fleuve, de marais, de mer et de plaines, une terre entre le ciel et l'eau. Situé à l'ouest du département des Bouches-du-Rhône, le pays d'Arles s'élève à peine au dessus du delta du Rhône et des plaines alluviales anciennes, au bord de la mer Méditerranée.
La réserve nationale de Camargue, est un espace hautement protégé (chasse, pêche, cueillette, camping sont interdits).
Le parc de Camargue offre une aventure exceptionnelle au milieu des chevaux blancs, taureaux, flamants roses et plusieurs autres centaines d'oiseaux qui y ont élu domicile. Pour découvrir cet espace sablonneux de 75 000 ha, salé par le vent du large, les randonnées à cheval autour des étangs ou à VTT le long de la "digue à la mer" sont idéales.
Dans ces lieux, une ville antique, Arles, classée au patrimoine mondiale de l'humanité par l'UNESCO est forte des traditions provençales et camarguaises.

Les Alpilles et la Montagnette
Situé au sud d'Avignon ce territoire est fait de petites montagnes et de vallées, traversé par la chaîne des Alpilles. C'est l'arrière pays des écrivains régionalistes Alphonse Daudet et Frédéric Mistral qui inspira également les grands peintres comme Van Gogh qui a peint ses plus grands chefs-d'œuvre à Saint-Rémy. Au sud, l'incontournable citadelle des Baux-de-Provence veille sur la vallée où l'on goûtera une huile d’olive AOC savoureuse.

Marseille
Entre mer et montagne le pays de Marseille occupe le sud-est du département. La rade qui s'ouvre largement au sein de côtes découpées explique la vocation maritime de la ville. Marseille est la plus ancienne ville et le plus grand port de France.
Le port fut le berceau de la cité, fondé par les grecs six siècles avant notre ère. Le Vieux-port a conservé tout le charme de son passé. Gardée par les forts Saint-Jean et Saint-Nicolas, la vue à partir des Jardins du Pharo est splendide.
Pour résumer, à Marseille vous devez partir en bateau vers les îles, flâner sur le Vieux-port et faire une escapade dans le massif des Calanques...

Pays d'Aix et Salon de Provence
Dans ce pays, plaines et collines alternent et deux villes se sont développées, Aix-en-Provence et Salon-de-Provence. Du paysage émerge à l'ouest une sentinelle, la montagne Sainte-Victoire (1011 m), reconnaissable de loin, reconnue dans le monde grâce aux tableaux de Cézanne. Markets
The markets continue to animate the life of the cities and villages of France. Today still, the day of the market, the places see arriving of the farmers, come to sell cattle, poultries, cheeses or fruit and vegetables.

On the Old man-Port of Marseilles, every morning the fish market is held where one finds all l' authentic and expensive environment with the stereotypes popular of Provence.
Of Luberon to the country d' Aix, walk you in the alleys of the provençaux markets most typical, the traditional markets of Apt and of Cadenet are famous. The villages of Luberon accomodate many markets where you will discover the products of the soil.
You will be able to often return to you there, in l' convivial and musical environment of the night markets or you will taste good products on the spot. Twice per week, the lavender and vegetable, fruit merchants steal the high-speed motorboat to the antique dealers of L' Isle-on-the-Sorgue.

Olives of our Provence: The black or green olives gathered on the trees are bitter, to be able to taste them they must undergo a preparation. That the olives are black or green those are the fruit of the same tree, the olive-tree. The green olives are not ripe, they gather at the end of September, the black ones in December, on our premises in Provence harvest is called “the olivades”. It is with these same olives as one makes the olive oil.
Anchoîade: This receipt is an entry very appraisal in Provence, the summer in particular, because it is very refreshing. You will serve it in small wicker baskets. All the vegetables of Provence will find their place there, like cauliflower, the broccoli, celery, the purple artichokes, the tomatos, the radishes, the endives, some carrot sticks, accompanied by oufs hard. Soup in Pistou: This soup of origin gênoise, is hardly in favour but in Provence, it makes the treat of all Provençaux, the evening under the arbour, with the song of the cicadas in background noise.
Gardianne of bulls: It is the traditional dish of camarguais, since this stew is prepared starting from meat of bull, raised in this area and is accompanied by rice. The bull of the Camargue is the only meat in France to have obtained a A.O.C in 1996.
